Frequently Asked Questions

All our courses are delivered by experienced clinicians who still work actively in NHS or private healthcare settings, ensuring our teaching reflects current best practice and up-to-date clinical knowledge.

Most of our courses are nationally regulated qualifications, such as those awarded by Qualsafe Awards. Some of our bespoke CPD sessions, however, are still in the process of gaining full accreditation — but all are designed and delivered to the same high standards of quality and relevance.

Some qualifications may have specific entry requirements or prerequisite training. These will always be clearly stated on the individual course information page.
If you’re unsure whether you meet the criteria, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — we’ll be happy to review your experience and guide you to the right course.
For regulated qualifications, evidence of prerequisite certificates may be required before training begins.

Our teaching combines inclusive methods, expert tuition, and high-quality simulation to create an engaging, hands-on learning environment. We aim to make every course accessible, realistic, and rewarding for all participants.

We provide both on-site and off-site training options, including at client venues, events, or our dedicated training facilities.

Looking for something tailored to your organisation or event? Contact ben@pulsepointtraining.co.uk to discuss bespoke training solutions designed around your needs and objectives.

Some of our practical sessions get very realistic — with moulage, fake blood, and active scenarios. You’ll be informed in advance if a course involves these elements, and we recommend bringing clothing you don’t mind getting messy for those days.

You can book directly through our website or by contacting our training team. Group and organisational bookings are also available.

Yes. Many of our trainers come from ambulance, paramedic, and emergency medicine backgrounds — ensuring real-world relevance in every session.

We’re committed to supporting all learners and will make every reasonable adjustment to accommodate disabilities or additional needs.
However, certain regulated qualifications require specific physical demonstrations (for example, performing effective CPR for two minutes).
If a physical limitation prevents you from completing these assessments, you’re still welcome to fully participate in the training. In such cases, we’ll provide a Certificate of Participation and a detailed transcript of your learning achievements to recognise your efforts and progress.
